1. Is Dena Harris Travel affiliated with or an official partner of the festival?
No. Dena Harris Travel is an independent travel agency and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or an official partner of the festival, its organizers, or its affiliated companies.
Dena Harris Travel independently offers travel packages and services for travelers visiting New Orleans during festival weekend, which may include hotel accommodations, special events and activities, concert tickets when included in the selected package, payment plans, and other travel-related services.
Any festival names, trademarks, event schedules, performers, or other festival-related information referenced on our website are the property of their respective owners and are provided for informational purposes only.
2. If I’m unable to attend the Ultimate Festival Weekend in New Orleans, will I receive a refund?
Payments submitted toward your festival package, including your initial deposit and any installment payments, are non-refundable and non-transferable. This policy is necessary because Dena Harris Travel makes financial commitments to hotels and other travel vendors on behalf of our guests.
For this reason, we highly encourage every traveler to consider purchasing travel insurance. Depending on the plan you select and the circumstances of your cancellation, insurance may provide reimbursement for certain prepaid, non-refundable travel expenses when cancellation occurs for a covered reason.
Coverage and reimbursement are determined by the specific insurance provider and policy purchased.
3. Do I really need travel insurance, and why is it important?
Travel insurance is not required; however, Dena Harris Travel strongly recommends it. Unexpected situations can arise before or during your trip, and having travel insurance may help protect the money you’ve invested in your festival weekend.
Depending on the policy you select, coverage may be available for circumstances such as illness or injury, family emergencies, trip cancellation or interruption, significant travel delays, and lost or delayed baggage, as well as other covered events.
Because payments toward your festival package are non-refundable and non-transferable, choosing to travel without insurance could mean losing the money you’ve paid if an unexpected situation prevents you from attending.
For the broadest coverage options, travelers are encouraged to purchase travel insurance soon after making their initial trip deposit. Certain benefits, including coverage related to some pre-existing medical conditions, may only be available when insurance is purchased within a specific period after your initial payment. These deadlines and eligibility requirements vary by insurance provider and policy.
Travelers should carefully review the coverage, exclusions, limitations, and requirements of the policy they select. All coverage and claim decisions are determined by the insurance provider according to the terms of the purchased policy.
Protecting your travel investment is strongly recommended, but the decision to purchase travel insurance is ultimately yours.
4. Is a payment plan available, and how does it work?
Yes! Dena Harris Travel offers a convenient payment plan for the Ultimate Festival Weekend in New Orleans.
You can reserve your festival package with an initial deposit of $100 per person. The remaining balance will be divided into affordable monthly payments, with the full balance due by the final payment deadline. The sooner you book, the more time you’ll have to pay!
You are always welcome to pay more than your scheduled monthly payment or pay your balance in full early.
Please remember that all deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
5. What forms of payment can I use for my festival package?
Dena Harris Travel accepts several convenient payment options, including: Credit cards, Debit cards, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Chime, Flex Pay (formerly Uplift).
Please note that processing fees may apply depending on the payment method selected.
6. When is my final payment due, and what happens if I miss a payment?
Final payment is generally due approximately 60 days prior to hotel check-in. Your specific final payment deadline will be provided at the time of booking and listed on your reservation.
If you choose our payment plan, you are expected to remain current with your monthly payment schedule. We understand that things happen, so if you know your payment will be late, please contact your travel agent as soon as possible.
If two scheduled monthly payments are missed without communication, your reservation may be canceled. Please keep in mind that any payments previously made are non-refundable and non-transferable.
For your convenience, automatic monthly payments are available to help you stay on track and ensure your package is paid in full by the final payment deadline.
7. Will I be charged a late fee if I miss a payment?
As a courtesy, Dena Harris Travel does not charge late fees for missed monthly payments. However, you are still expected to remain current with your monthly payment schedule and contact your travel agent if you anticipate being late to avoid possible cancellation.
If no payment is received and there has been no communication for 60 days, your reservation may be canceled. Any payments previously made will remain non-refundable and non-transferable.
If your reservation is not paid in full by the final payment deadline, you will have a 48-hour grace period to bring your account current. After the 48-hour grace period, a $50 late fee will automatically be added to your remaining balance.
To avoid the late fee, please make sure your entire remaining balance is paid no later than 48 hours after the final payment deadline.
8. Do you offer roommate matching?
Yes! Dena Harris Travel offers our Perfect Travel Buddy Roommate Matching Program for solo travelers who would like to share accommodations and the cost with another traveler.
Our roommate matching program is available for double occupancy only, meaning you will be matched with one other traveler to share your room.
Travelers interested in roommate matching will complete a roommate profile that helps us learn more about their personality, travel preferences, lifestyle, and room-sharing habits. We personally review each profile and work to connect travelers with someone we believe may be a compatible match.
Our goal is simple: to help you find the Perfect Travel Buddy so you don’t have to miss another amazing experience waiting on indecisive friends!
9. What happens if Dena Harris Travel is unable to find me a roommate?
That’s where our Perfect Travel Buddy Guarantee comes in!
If you register for our Perfect Travel Buddy Roommate Matching Program and Dena Harris Travel is unable to match you with another traveler, you will still be able to attend the Ultimate Festival Weekend in New Orleans at the double-occupancy rate you originally booked.
You will not be required to pay the additional single-occupancy cost simply because we were unable to provide you with a roommate. In that situation, you’ll enjoy the room to yourself while keeping your original double-occupancy rate.
Roommate matches are made by Dena Harris Travel based on the information provided in each traveler’s roommate questionnaire. The Perfect Travel Buddy Guarantee applies when Dena Harris Travel is unable to provide a roommate match—not when a traveler chooses not to accept the roommate match provided.
Our Perfect Travel Buddy Guarantee allows you to book with confidence, knowing that your trip doesn’t depend on whether another traveler signs up to share your room.
10. What if I decide I no longer want a roommate and prefer to travel solo?
If you decide that you would rather have your own room, you may request to change your reservation to single occupancy. You will be responsible for the applicable single-occupancy rate and any additional amount due as a result of the change.
If you initially enroll in the Perfect Travel Buddy Roommate Matching Program but later decide to bring your own roommate, please contact Dena Harris Travel as soon as possible. Requests to add your own roommate are subject to availability and must be approved before any changes are made to your reservation.
If Dena Harris Travel has already assigned you a roommate, we will also need to consider the arrangements already made for that traveler. For this reason, changes requested after roommate assignments have been made cannot be guaranteed.
11. What happens if the roommate I booked with cancels their reservation?
If a roommate you personally booked with or chose to travel with cancels their reservation, the remaining traveler’s reservation will be adjusted to reflect the new number of guests occupying the room. This may result in an increase in the remaining traveler’s package price.
Any payments made by the roommate who cancels are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be applied toward another traveler’s balance.
However, if your roommate was assigned to you through our Perfect Travel Buddy Roommate Matching Program, your package price will not increase simply because your matched roommate cancels. Dena Harris Travel will work to provide another Perfect Travel Buddy match, and if we are unable to do so, our Perfect Travel Buddy Guarantee applies.
That’s one of the benefits of the Perfect Travel Buddy Roommate Matching Program—you won’t suddenly become responsible for a higher room rate simply because the traveler we matched you with changed their plans.
12. If one of my roommates cancels, can I replace them with someone else?
Yes. Name changes are permitted up to 7 days prior to hotel check-in, allowing you to replace a roommate who is no longer able to attend.
If you are booked in a triple- or quad-occupancy room, all remaining roommates on the reservation must agree to the replacement traveler. Each remaining roommate will be required to provide written confirmation approving the name change before the new traveler can be added to the reservation.
If the required approvals are not received, the name change will not be completed and the replacement traveler will not be added to the room.
There is no additional fee to make a name change.
13. How can I make sure my roommates are making their payments?
You have the right to know whether the other travelers sharing your room are making their payments as agreed. Roommate payment statements are available upon request at any time and will show the payment status of each traveler on your reservation.
While Dena Harris Travel maintains payment records for all travelers, it is your responsibility to stay informed about the payment status of the roommates you choose to travel with. We strongly encourage you to communicate with one another throughout the payment process and request a roommate statement whenever you would like to verify that everyone is staying on track.

14. Can I remove someone from my reservation?
If a roommate is actively making payments toward their reservation, they cannot be removed from the room by another traveler. Please choose your roommates carefully before booking, as one traveler cannot cancel or remove another paying traveler from a shared reservation.
If you no longer wish to share accommodations with someone in your room, you may request to move to a separate room at your own expense, subject to hotel availability and the applicable room rate.
15. Can I transfer my entire reservation to someone else?
Yes. In most cases, you may transfer your reservation to another traveler.
If you are booked in a shared room, all remaining roommates must agree to the replacement traveler and provide written approval before the reservation can be transferred.
If you are booked in a single-occupancy room, you may transfer your reservation to another traveler.
Please contact your travel agent to request the name change and update the reservation.
16. Can I make changes to my reservation after the final payment deadline?
Once the final payment deadline has passed, changes to your hotel or festival package will not be permitted.
However, if a traveler is no longer able to attend, a name change may still be permitted within the established name-change deadline. If the reservation includes roommates, all remaining roommates must provide written approval before a replacement traveler can be added.
Please remember that changing the name on a reservation does not make previously paid funds refundable.
17. Are festival concert tickets included in my package?
Yes! Dena Harris Travel offers festival packages that include concert tickets for all 3 nights, as well as packages that include a concert ticket for 1 night of your choice. Be sure to review the details of your selected package to see which concert ticket option is included.
If you don’t need hotel accommodations and are interested in concert tickets only, we’ve got you covered! Dena Harris Travel also offers concert ticket-only options with convenient payment plans available.
Concert ticket prices are based on the current Ticketmaster rate at the time of booking and are subject to change until confirmed.
18. What is not included in my festival package?
Unless specifically listed as included in your selected package, the following are not included:
- Transportation to and from New Orleans
- Transportation to concerts, parties, or other events
- Concert tickets or event admission unless specifically included in your package
- Meals and beverages
- Parties, activities, or events not specifically listed as part of your package
- Hotel parking fees
- Personal spending and incidental expenses
- Travel insurance

19. If I book my own hotel, can I still attend Dena Harris Travel events?
Absolutely! You do not have to book your hotel accommodations through Dena Harris Travel to join us for the weekend.
We offer an event-only package for travelers who choose to secure their own accommodations. Event-only packages may include experiences such as The Ultimate Cookout, VIP on the River Cruise & Party, and concert tickets, depending on the package selected.
Travelers who book their own accommodations are responsible for arranging their own transportation, airport transfers, hotel accommodations, parking, and any other services not specifically included in their event-only package.
20. Can I use or earn hotel rewards with my festival package?
Due to the contractual arrangements between Dena Harris Travel and our partner hotels, hotel accommodations booked as part of our festival packages are not eligible for individual hotel loyalty rewards.
This means you will not be able to earn hotel reward points or use existing points, free-night certificates, or other loyalty rewards toward the hotel portion of your festival package.
If you prefer to use your hotel points or travel rewards, you are welcome to book your hotel accommodations independently. Dena Harris Travel offers an event-only package for travelers who choose to secure their own accommodations using hotel points, travel rewards, or another booking method.
This way, you can still enjoy the Dena Harris Travel festival weekend experience while taking advantage of your personal hotel rewards.
21. Can I change my hotel or room type after I book?
Please carefully consider your hotel selection before booking. Once your reservation has been confirmed, you will not be able to change to a different hotel.
If you need to request a change to your room type within the same hotel, such as changing from 1 king bed to 2 beds or from 2 beds to 1 king bed, you may submit a request.
Room-type changes are based on hotel availability and are not guaranteed.
22. Can I arrive early or extend my stay?
Absolutely! If you would like to enjoy a little more time in New Orleans, you may request to extend your stay by adding additional hotel nights.
Additional nights are subject to hotel availability and the current hotel rate. A quote will be provided upon request.

23. What time is hotel check-in, and will I be able to check in early?
Hotel check-in is typically 4:00 PM. We recommend contacting your hotel directly prior to arrival to confirm its current check-in time and policies.
As a courtesy to our guests, Dena Harris Travel requests complimentary early check-in for all reservations. The hotel will make every effort to accommodate these requests based on room availability; however, complimentary early check-in is a request and cannot be guaranteed.
If you are arriving in New Orleans early and want to guarantee that your room will be available immediately upon arrival, Dena Harris Travel offers a Guaranteed Early Check-In option. With this option, your room is reserved beginning the night before your scheduled arrival, allowing you to check in the following morning without having to wait for the standard check-in time. This is especially helpful for travelers with early-morning flights or arrivals.
If you do not purchase Guaranteed Early Check-In and arrive before the hotel’s standard check-in time, please be prepared to wait until your room is ready. The hotel may be able to store your luggage in a secure area so you can begin enjoying New Orleans while you wait.
The hotel may occasionally offer early check-in on the day of arrival, sometimes for an additional fee; however, same-day early check-in is based on availability and is not guaranteed.
We kindly ask that guests do not become upset with hotel staff if a room is unavailable before the established check-in time. Standard check-in information is provided in advance, and travelers who need immediate access to their room upon an early arrival have the option to arrange Guaranteed Early Check-In ahead of time.
If arriving early and waiting for a room would be inconvenient, we strongly recommend adding Guaranteed Early Check-In to your reservation.
24. When will I receive my hotel confirmation and final travel information?
Your official hotel confirmation number, along with your final travel information and package inclusions, will be provided to you at least 2 weeks prior to hotel check-in.
At that time, you’ll receive the important details you need to prepare for and enjoy your Ultimate Festival Weekend in New Orleans.
25. After I pay for my package in full, will I have any additional charges at check-in?
Your hotel accommodations will be paid in full prior to your arrival. However, as with most hotel stays, one guest in each room will be required to present a credit or debit card at check-in for incidental charges.
Incidentals are separate from the cost of your hotel accommodations and may cover expenses such as room service, purchases charged to your room, or damages to the hotel room.
Depending on the hotel’s policy, the incidental hold may range from approximately $50–$100 per day. This amount is typically placed as a temporary hold on the card presented at check-in.
If no additional charges are made to the room, the unused funds will be released after check-out. The amount of the hold and the time it takes for the funds to become available again may vary depending on the hotel and your financial institution.
Incidental charges are not included in your festival package and are the responsibility of the guests occupying the room.

Yes! Dena Harris Travel offers round-trip charter bus transportation from Jacksonville, Florida, to New Orleans aboard a comfortable luxury motorcoach.
The charter bus will drop off and pick up at one of Dena Harris Travel’s host hotels in New Orleans. If you are staying at a different hotel, you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation from the designated drop-off location to your hotel upon arrival and back to the designated pick-up location on departure day.
If you plan to travel by charter bus, be sure to select the 4-night hotel package. The bus itinerary is scheduled for Thursday arrival in New Orleans and Monday departure, so your hotel accommodations must correspond with those dates.
If you prefer to fly to New Orleans, you will be responsible for arranging your own airfare and airport transfers to and from your hotel.

27. What happens if the festival schedule, performances, or events change?
Please keep in mind that festival schedules, performers, artists, venues, and event times are subject to change at the discretion of the festival organizers. These decisions are outside the control of Dena Harris Travel.
Additionally, Dena Harris Travel reserves the right to make changes or substitutions to activities or events included in our festival packages when necessary. If a change is required, we will make every effort to provide a comparable experience whenever possible.
Changes to festival performances, artists, schedules, or Dena Harris Travel package activities do not alter the applicable cancellation and refund policies.
28. Are children allowed to attend the festival?
Yes. The festival is primarily a family-oriented event, and children are welcome to enjoy many of the activities and experiences taking place throughout the weekend.
However, some concerts, parties, activities, or events may have age restrictions or content that may not be suitable for children. Parents and guardians should review individual event details and use their discretion when deciding which activities are appropriate for their children.
29. What happens if I have a problem checking in at the hotel?
We work diligently behind the scenes to make sure your reservation is paid in full, confirmed, and ready for your arrival. While we do not anticipate any problems at check-in, we understand that unexpected situations can occasionally arise.
If you experience an issue during check-in, don’t worry—we’re there for you. A Dena Harris Travel representative will be on-site and available to assist, and we maintain direct communication with hotel management to help resolve any issues that may arise.
We’ve successfully welcomed our travelers without check-in problems, and we intend to keep it that way! We dot every I and cross every T to help make your arrival as smooth and stress-free as possible.
30. What happens if there is a problem with my hotel room during my stay?
